I want to agree

It's just hard to rate him above Magic. Magic is almost universally considered a top 5 all time, if not top 10 minimum. Putting curry above him would imply curry is not only in that tier but higher than magic. Or are we somehow separating them from their position when it comes to all time ranking? I've seen such mental gymnastics in abundance on this subreddit.

For me it's similar to the other MJ debate
Lebron is clear cut second best player of all time and curry is clear cut second best PG of all time

The respective MJs are #1

Both magic and curry would likely have at least one more ring if not for injuries
Curry didnt have a top 3 all time player on his squad though

When curry wins another championship ill bump him up
