Why 1 and 4? Seems unusual.

Week 1 is because players need extra time to get into football shape this year. A lot of gyms have been closed or social restrictions making it more difficult to train in the offseason. I'm not sure about week 4.

Wait is this correct? I thought I heard it was games week 2-3 that was canceled. Hence the 2 week break from preseason game 1 to 4.

I think it has to do with home/away scheduling. Every team should get a home game. I might be wrong though; only glanced at the schedule.

They need to cancel the league.

They're still in talks about canceling all of the preseason games this year and going straight into the regular season.

Also in talks about not having the full 90 players per roster during training camps. I've read stuff that said they might only have 70-80 players instead.

It's going to be really hard for UDFAs and bottom of the roster players this year.
