What was your first character

I saw my cousin playing his paladin and saw huge lightning attacks so I thought the paladin could do that. Turns out it was a sorc in the party attacking so I was very sad when I finished leveling my paladin and tried Fist of the heaven (which I believed was the lightning skill)

Paladin, I thought vengeance sounded cool and it was naturally paired with conviction.

Never read a guide and didn't max any synergy since I put skill points in all skills to try them out. Needless to say, he sucked.

I can’t remember but I do remember making a zeal pally with my friend and dueling each other and in pubs constantly. Our chars were so bad, I remember getting slapped by a barb with dual lightsabers. I made it my goal to get a lightsaber after that.

I also remember being killed by a str glitched barb and we were convinced he was actually naked so we concluded he had 37 psn dmg small charms in his inventory and that’s how he one shotted us while naked.

Finally I remember seeing a full ik barb for the first time and that was the char I needed to have. Idk how but I eventually had it and I remember dueling my friend’s fissure druid and his friends Trang necro.

I remember first seeing a pally with holy shield cast, I thought it was a shield graphic. Didn’t know it was a skill, and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what badass shield that was, was convinced it was a super rare unique shield lol

Also I remember a druid showing me his Arachnid belt for the first time and at that time I didn’t know any belts with + skills existed so I was blown away. Didn’t even recognize the fcr, was such a noob I just wanted the +1 all skills

I play hc for ladder and all pvm exclusively now but I remember making my first hc char. I worked my ass off and got a hammerdin to hell. Joined a hell baal game to get some lvls so I could start mfing hell on my own. Very first game, tp pops up, I go in instantly. It was a zons tp to frigid highlands and she auto hosted me and one shotted me with charged strike. Back when you could tp pk hack. I didn’t play hc again until I made the switch a few years back lol
