Paypal by law is not allowed to hold you accountable for fraudulent actions from someone else.
Call them directly with Superman's contact info.

Paypal is not particularly helpful. They also outsource their customer support to country with no native English speaking people, thus the reply you got.

as a heads up, start using privacy.com
you can make digital one-time use debit cards, or set it up to only allow x amount of $ to be spent a day/week/month etc.
it links to your bank still, so you have the ability to fight fraudulent purchases unlike paypal and their system if you're using money that's already on the paypal account.

They will take so long to reply and probably try to divert by making you restate everything thats in your OP.. and i mean it could take 24h to 3 days before they reply.

If they dont respond within 48hrs i go straight to twitter and fb.
Tag them and rip their well known disgusting customer service in half.

They will respond. Demand fix...
