You are suggesting a causal relationship with the auto deposit function not that it’s a solution?

I just started using auto deposit function in the settings 2-3 weeks ago. I have always dragged and dropped to the vault (even during group climbs) for the last 3 years since I have started LS to ensure that was the item I wanted to deposit.

I've used the auto deposit function as long as I can remember and the times items have went missing for me I had done one of two things:

1. Simply put them in the wrong category (I.E. put my main gear in my Wellables Category)

or

2. Had sent someone something to their vault earlier in the climb and not click on my deposit tab again, setting it as the default to send items. When I did this, I would end up sending an item or two to someone's vault instead of my own.

The second one usually happens to me when I'm sending skillables to a guild mate, you can usually notice if this is happening though as you will get a flood error if you try to send multiple items quickly.

I hope this will help you track it down, but I can't for sure say where they went.

I hate to be the guy who points out the absolute obvious probably already checked issue, but since i had it happen to me ill mention it: Have you checked to see if you have a page 2 or more in your vault? I didnt realize i had a page two one day and i looked FOREVER for some items.

I would suggest to open your vault, withdraw tab as usual, let the category in blank, and choose the type, the level etc of the item your searching. As ryan said, your items might be in another category. It happened to me few times if I go to fast and haven't changed the category before autodeposit. I cross fingers for you.

Isn't there a search for "No Category" that lists every item in Vault?

No, you'll only see items that you have put in the "no category" tab
