Looking for some assistance identifying what kind of Cactus I have. it was given to me and the little tag that came in the flower pot with the cactus just says "Assorted Cactus"... the following is a side pic and a top view pic to help anyone identify it.

I thought maybe it was a genus of Pilosocereus, but I am just getting in to them now since I was given it

Any help determining what kind it is would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sorry about Image size.... looks fine on me phone.

Np, I would switch to a better substrate in a larger pot ASAP if you ever expect it to grow well.
They fucking hate the cold, and their roots can not stay wet or dry too long.
They flower quite nicely. like one after another for weeks.

Your in Ontario so heed my warning about the cold.

Yeah, it is not a plant I will be exposing to the weather until it is much warmer out. I did put it in a bigger pot that drains nicely. It is about double the size of the little pot it was in. I will see how it does in this pot this year. Maybe put it in a bigger pot if it grows some this year.

Thank you! :)

Starting growing some Cherry Tomatoes and my Cactus has some new growth since I transplanted it! :D

Cherry Tomatoes started out in one pot, then once they sprouted 2-4 inches I transplanted them in to individual pots.

Sprouts in first pot  :

Sprouts in new pots + cactus  :

Top of Cactus showing new bright green growth! :

Pretty pumped! Got some babies to nurture and keep me busy/happy! :D

a little side note, I fucking hate tomatoes, but the woman loves em'!

^King Atrhur thank you again for helping me with the type of cactus!
