found this which should assist you in catching up:

Rare tempered diamond chain mail
Level Req: 45
Physical Defense: 68 to 171
Magical Defense: 0 to 44

+84% Enhanced Effect
+4 Life Regen

The extra defense will be much better than a small amount of strength.
you may also need to start thinking about getting some life regen items.

And i pm'd you how to mule items, i suggest you do that before you accidently shrine one of the good items you have ;)
If you've forgotten:
Make mule
Go to main character
Open marketplace
Click transfer
Drag item into box (do not need to put gold password in as it costs nothing)
Select mule
click transfer item.

just looking you could use a new strength charm also and i've got this lying around:

Rare focused heal XI
Level Req: 40
Heals: 55 to 66
Mana Cost: 85

+29 Strength
+12% Ice Mastery

~20 fg for the chain, 5 for the charm.

congratz on getting there. Honestly not something everyone who tries the game does, especially on the budget you were on.

Did you use the shrine at all btw? I just presumed you figured that bit out where any weapon/armor/charm with stats (so not wellables) can be thrown in for extra life and mana.
This is part of the reason you get a mule.

Anyway, you made it and you have items to make another attempt if that floats your boat. Much easier completing a second time once you have items.
