I'm level 63 samurai, and do around 44-450 damage with my sword.
But every hit on this evil presence is 0 damage (I managed to do a crit for 9 \o/)

So I switched to caster (which I'm not with all my points in str...).
With a full mana bar I can do around 3k-5k damage to the monster. Been doing this 10 times with regen in town in between, and I only got the monster down by 5%...

In short, I'm fighting a super evil presence insensible to physical damage, and with 500k+ life.

Has it happened to others ? What the heck is it ?

Need a caster to kill him

This ep is an objective "sneaky" which is immune to physical dmg.

Id suggest you just remake a game, the reward isnt really worth it unless you really need the obj to unblock other objectives.

There's an objective that's called "Soften the Sneaky Shell", this spawns an Evil Presence that's nearly immune to physical damage, but vulnerable to spells

I donno if that's it

Personally I just log out and log back in to refresh the catacombs, it's annoying

u found objective Soften the Sneaky Shell - resistant to physical damage.
Only caster can kill him. Reward is between 7 to 15 vita extra.

I'm gonna just leave him then, few vitality points aren't worth the time spent

if you have a decent mq dmg charm and some extra mana gear on the side, you can actually kill him after a few regens.....he always seems to drop some high level items,
so you might want to think about killing him anyways
