Should we take current contract in consideration or we ranking only by how good players are ?

Go by what their contracts would be since they'd all be free agents

Voted ovy for consistency/durability put would easily swap for mackinnon

For me this is the toughest pick to make out of the top 10.

Draisatl and Mackinnon have so many comparables.

/e just to clarify we are going by a one year free agent contract? This is not a long term pick with many years to consider how they would perform?

This is much harder than #1 lol, but gotta go with Mackinnon imo, 24yrs old

Even Mackinnon is not the clearest #2, just hard to not take him here. Ofc hasn't been cd yet for #2

Went with Draisatl because I think he is more durable than Mackinnon.

Skillset is pretty close between them so that was the deciding factor for me.

Mackinnon has more skill in a lot of aspects but when you watch Draisatl play he just knows how to get the job done.

He protects the puck well in the corners and sometimes he looks a bit clunky when he drives the net or battles in front; but it works and you can't argue with that. He has certainly shaken the rep that he can only produce with Mcdavid. He is more than good enough to succeed on his own.

I actually like seeing such a high end player look a little bit unpolished in terms of his playstyle to get things done. Mackinnon has more raw skill, but not by much imo.
