All fair statements, but Harden gets shit for HOW he plays, not his output. He’s in the MVP conversation for his output every season.

Shit, at a certain point you do have to knock him down a peg for his obsession with ref ball. It’s abusing the game, like when HE hooks his arm to the defender to draw a foul. I get taking advantage of certain little things from the refs, but when 50% of your scoring game comes from abusing the rules, it’s no longer a “competitor fire” your displaying, its bitchassness that NO ONE respects.

How is pushing the limits of rules not competitive? Everyone should be doing absolutely everything to get every advantage possible. He also gets shit for being the worst defender ever when in reality he's a better defender than Kyrie, Curry, etc.

Do you see the difference between pushing the boundaries and depending on the limits of officiating for 50% of your game leading you to trick the refs and the short change the audience?

There was a time where you could have a legit conversation saying that AI was in the top 2/3 best basketball players on the planet.
While Wade was excellent, and a far better defender. You could never have that type of discussion about him.

Harden is incredibly efficient though.

But yes, Iverson was not exactly efficient. I mean at the end of the day Iverson wasn't better than Harden in terms of production, but we can all agree he had more heart and more of that killer mentality. Iverson was a lot smaller (dude wasn't even 6 feet tall) and was tiny as fuck, so considering what he was working with he was absolutely incredible.
