Shouldn't we be able to update our post to add italic, bold and red titles after we post?

I've had this issue from time to time where I'm so caught up in my post I just hit "Post New Topic" and facepalm afterwards. I can't see this being an issue at all, aside from people not reposting the same topic just to get their modifiers up.
