Lebron is the better player, however you can make the argument that Duncan had the better career in terms of accolades.

Duncan:
5 rings
3 finals MVP’s
2 regular season MVP’s
15-time all-Star

Lebron:
3 rings
3 finals MVP’s
4 regular season MVP’s
16-time all-star

Duncan 15x all defensive to LeBron’s 6 as well. Absolutely bonkers.

I do feel like Duncan is majorly underrated, he should be in everybody’s top 10 all time no question. Best PF to ever play, but LeBron is in the GOAT conversation and only 2 other people really belong in that conversation - Jordan and Kareem. Just another tier entirely.

Hard pills to swallow. If you switched KG for TD, the spurs would of been an even greater force and would of accomplished more.

KG is also an all-time great, but nah I disagree

Duncan was the perfect complement to the Spurs other stars, their ethos as a franchise, and Pop's coaching style. A lot of his greatness also was in his longevity.

KG was the best player in the league from roughly 2002-2004, and he more than likely would have won at least one chip with the Spurs, but I don't think they would have won 5 over the span of time that they did.

I don't think it's a crazy statement but Nah. I love KG but Duncan is hands down the best PF ever. Can't just swap him out and have the same success.
Though, I do agree with Wrath saying that KG may have been better during his prime.
