I want to return to classic from LOD next ladder reset but I'm worried there's no player base. How does the player base compare to LOD? Are there typically always active non-bot games?

Nah, come expecting to play single player and possibly run into someone on occasion after the first week of ladder

There may be intermittent public bots up, CS chant ect

I play a private server, it's the 1.09 patch, it's active and really nice can get prepatch rates and 1.08 uniques etc .Google diablo 09.
