im on pc but my buddys on xbox and i play with him he can hear me talk but i cant hear him? any ideas how to fix this

Go to settings and make sure game chat is on and also cross platform chat

Also on this it generally defaults to mute for some reason, and once game starts you can unmute in the player menu. You cant do it in the pre game lobby though.

finally got it to work had to disable my stand alone mic from being a speaker even though by default my headset is set to the output game just assumed it was my mic......smh
