Im considering purchasing HBO, here in canada it costs 19.99 per month to get all the shows

Just wondering if any of you have it and would recommend paying for it and if so what shows would you recommened?

i have it. not worth it. freezes up a lot. most of the shows have rotten endings. get a $20 firestick and stream it for free.

HBO is the best content creator in the world atm

The Wire alone is worth $20

True Detective Season 1 is probably the best single season of television ever made (S3 is decent as well)

Barry is short, but top tier

Chernobyil is also worth watching

Don't forget about The Sopranos. On par with The Wire and one of the best shows ever made.

Barry is a short series (sixteen half-hour episodes), but it might be the best comedy series ever on the basis of content per minute. It's a no doubter. Light, easy viewing, funny and smart.

And some of the best comedy series ever made also, Curb and The Larry Sanders Show are worth 20$ to watch them over and over again.

if you already have amazon prime be sure to look at their hbo selection. they don't have everything but if youre on the fence and already have prime its basically an HBO Demo.
