SO recently my old 11 year old corsair radiator died this was a hydro h70

i recently about two months ago got a corsair hydro h80i v2

worked great until this morning i woke up to cpu fan failure overheated.

so i took it apart applied new thermal paste and tapped the cpu pump a few times just as a hail marry to see if it was just stuck.

and good news it fixed the problem but i have no idea for how long.

sense i only had it for about two months should i just go ahead and get a replacement just incase its a bad pump and starting to fail?

or do you think my mobo is somehow frying my cpu pumps

I was also reading and some people on the corsair forums etc said to go into the BIOS and change checking CPU fan speed on startup and this would fix it.

Is this a problem specifically with asus motherboards and corsair hydro products? or is the pump failing even thou its only 2 months old

Mine does this when the power goes out. I did the same, reapplied paste but still happens so I have to go into bios and change fan speeds.
