noob question here from a person who doesnt actively do clone hunting:

why are the breaks between sells this long?!

with ~40 sojs sold this cant be a coincidence anymore, so... why do they take their time?

Because everybody waits for someone else to sell their sojs

Sometimes we've had servers with 50+ sojs sold and then it stops because nobody is selling anymore

well i thought that for organising this they have like a few selling chars... and everyone has a few hell games up

and i thought, they must have 100 sojs or something to sell :S

It's not organised!

Organised world events last 2 minutes only. They sell 100 sojs in a few seconds and then Diablo walks. We call it a flash walk.

Here, someone just sold a few sojs, maybe to try their luck i don't know, then it was followed by others

Flash walks are pretty new. I didn't know it either when I started playing again. But now the majority of world events are flashed. For instance:

18:15:43 - 47482 Stones of Jordan Sold to Merchants on IP 69
18:16:13 - 47522 Stones of Jordan Sold to Merchants on IP 69
18:16:45 - 47562 Stones of Jordan Sold to Merchants on IP 69
18:16:47 - Diablo Walks the Earth

See, it goes very fast.

So yes, there's a possibility that Diablo doesn't walk. We do not know the exact count so if people are feeling playful, they sell their sojs and hope that it walks.

If the counts go above 67475, then from here, any single soj sold could spawn DClone. Before that we're not sure.
