Hey,

I need some help with the following.

In 2019 I bought a computer and put the following rams.

HyperX HX426C16FBK2/32
2x 16 GB

Today I wanted to add an additional 32GB, so I purchased the following.
HyperX Fury HX426C16FB3/16
2x 16 GB

When all four rams are put in, screen doesn't respond.
As soon as I take out the two new ones, the computer turns on.

Rams should be compatible with each other, as its both DDR4 2666MHz?

or am I wrong?
What can I do?

Send the new stuff back, and get this... HyperX HX426C16FBK2/32

so I just tried going in to bios, I honestly dont know what I'm looking for.

Pulled out old ram, tried only with the two new and that didnt even work.

Can you tell me what I'm looking for in BIOS?

I tried activating XMP Profile 1, didnt help.

How do I fix timings? Or how do I turn off timings?

are you getting them in dual channel?
test 1 at a time of the new sticks

and may i ask what do you need that much ram for?

Well, for 32GB, it's not THAT crazy. I'm pretty sure the problem is down to different densities on the RAM IC chips.

Well, this... https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16813145098 is a FOUR slot dual channel motherboard. With 16GB sticks, and a total of 64GB, the RAM is only gonna operate in dual channel.

As for the sticks themselves...even the heat sinks aren't the same. (Going by the newegg pics anyways). Again, going by newegg and/or Kingston... the specs for the "new" RAM are suspiciously incomplete. Not even any mention of ECC or buffering.
Lastly, the model number the OP gave for the "new" RAM is for one 16GB stick.

Used the newegg link for both model numbers...and the Kingston pdf for the "new" RAM.

Both can be looked at in Kingston website

A stick might be dead and causing all this

You are suffering from the mixed RAM problem. Doesn't matter which model number you pick... just make all four sticks the SAME model number.

Not as important, but still noteworthy... TWO sticks of RAM is better than four sticks, compatibility wise. Or, if that's not possible...then a 4 stick set or RAM that's matched from the get go.
