Why would a succesful company work with a dying one, blizz?

Also Path of Exile is doing great.

It would be a dream to have Blizzard sell the Diablo IP to GGG, but it won't ever happen. Diablo is burnt into their brand/logo as much as Warcraft is.

They will appeal to casuals and that will destroy the game. Path of Exile does the exact opposite but yet it's still continuing to get better by each patch and continuing to grow. The ARPG genre should be targeted towards a certain audience, not to every single type of gamer, most of which that have the attention span of a squirrel monkey.

I think it's fine that they're so close and listen to the community, even redditors.

blizzard is a shareholder company. no point in even mentioning the name blizzard as if they have any integrity. shareholders just want money, they don't care about art.

the writing/story, and cut scenes were all done at blizzard south. that's why these elements of diablo are as good as they are.

they shoulda just let blizz north go nuts with their awesome 2d version of d3 tho,

apparantly they held back on a d2 expansion and a lot of other features because they were planned for their version of d3
