I think it’s going to get rough mid November to end of the year.

The market is irrational, its constantly a challenge to determine what's priced in and what isn't. I am often surprised but not surprised that again I have predicted the wrong outcome.

Doesn't mean I won't pick some sector ETF's over just indexing to the S&P or total US market but my single pick days are mostly done.

On another note I don't yet know what to make of companies now being able to pass on credit card fees to customers, I wonder if I'm going back to the days of debit cards.

Has anyone seen vendors passing on fees yet? I know the second I see it at a grocery store, hardware store or via airline bookings ill drop my card where possible and I think a lot of people will drop their Visa or Mastercard depending on fee rates. Ive seen some posts with pictures of receipts with a 3.5% charge for using a Visa.

I haven't seen it and I doubt it will happen. Vendors are so wildly dependent on accepting credit cards and it would be such a hot topic that the vendors that don't do it would quickly get a shit load more traffic.

Looking to short Twitter at this point. I believe Elon will not follow through with the deal as debt financing ends 8 days prior to the court date. This allows him to exit deal and only pay $1B.

I agree and that's why I was so surprised to see Telus one of Canada's biggest cell phone plan and internet providers hop on. That would make me instantly switch to Bell or Rogers.

Companies have already baked the price into goods I would have assumed so it will be interesting to see what happens.
