I got lot of positions atm. Just don’t know what to do. To profit take or leave it

I am racked with indecision daily right now which has lead me to a state of paralysis. Everything seems so irrational. By a lot of positions, I really mean like 18-28 at a time.

If I have money I am going to invest it. So if I trim I need to know where I'm going to put it next which is another decision that further leads to more indecision.

I could just index everything and probably sleep at night. The issue is I have done well, above average even in these bumper crop years where everyone should have done well. I don't meme, I have made okay picks in existing well established companies that after all my indecision I eventually pick. I am not patting myself on the back here, it's just all worked out somehow.

ACCOUNT 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020
- TFSA 9.73 18.15 24.08 90.54 167.66%

For instance above is my TFSA. That's cumulative return and my TFSA is maxed, so it's not chump change. It's really hard to tell myself, don't do the work, just index it and forget it when my individual picks through the years have over performed. It's not just a single stock either its many and its not just my TFSA, my RRSP and unregistered reflect the same to a lessor extent.

But at the same time I live in a constant state of anxiety.

do both. just scale down what you pick and scale hard into an index fund. then u can take breaks and just sleep at night.

I do to an extent, as well as a healthy allocation to various Canadian financial institutions which are all heavily regulated and have a lower beta.

Its being in front of a damn computer all day.

anyone buy the dip on BTC or ETH?

eth went to 1k, and i thought we'd retrace lower so i didnt buy in. o well. 1250 is where its bounced back to now, i expect 1300 spiked out by end of day but even if this is todays peak its a great rebound pointing to us being in phase C of the bull run rather than slaughter season for the bull run.
