Sold all my roku, will take my profits. don’t wanna gamble it on earnings which I think will be pretty solid lol

Sold all my Pinterest

Buying slack

Honestly thinking of increasing AMD position again

I'm not sure I can justify buying it. How much of the future is already priced in at this point?

Ya it’s fair definitely with how much it has swollen lately. However I think this is the future of semi conductors though alongside nvidia. I’m waiting to buy more, want to see some sort of dip

Disney profitable vs the expected loss. Successful first earnings for Bob

Seems to me that there are 3 pillars of the semi-conductor industry: data-centers, PCs (falling market), and GPUs. AMD has a solid footprint in the latter 2 and can make some serious headway into the first. I think what it really boils down to is Intel not using Taiwan for manufacturing. At what point does Intel transition, if at all? Either way, the multiplier in AMD is fucking outrageous right now which scares me quite a bit.

it depends on what the meaning of the word future is, (har har). if AMD keep eatings intel’s lunch well the technically they can eclipse intel’s old market cap (~280B) before intel started on a path of FUBAR. so thats nearly 3x upside but that would require continued seismic movements coupled with intel basically giving up

fundamentals are out of wack too and will continue to be as we transition further into this era where tech becomes even more important

i shifted my ‘retirement’ accounts into heavy tech sector portfolios and growth portfolios few months back, its just ridiculous right now

I have been averaging down on Canadian bank holdings iv had for the past 3 years. They have not recovered like other sectors. They still have a 5+% dividend. I don't want to hold cash but am uncertain with tech so inflated so Its been my go to as a low risk play.

Canadian banks are more sound than the US banks with the big 5 banks here in Canada holding 90% of the market share. Canadian banks are also heavily regulated.
