https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YLxYf9 - What you described in the post

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KZCy8M - What he should actually get

IDK what he's doing that he thinks he needs 32G of RAM, but he's gonna be help back by an Intel processor at this price point anyways.
The AMD system will get better overall gaming performance, and has a faster hard drive and 50% more threads if he's trying to get into streaming.

In either case, windows key can be had off Ebay or Kinguin for just a few bucks.

i tried using most of the components Zell used for comparison, but i changed some to keep the cpu Intel and to keep the mobo an Asus.
like Zell i also only used 16gb of RAM. the RAM is 3200 instead of 3600. (same brand)
the case is a bit bland looking, but has great airflow.
i also changed the SSD to a 970 evo.

i don't think 500mb is much space though, so unless he plans on using an old drive or external, he should think about adding a cheaper 1tb HD.
you could save some from my list if you used a mobo that wasn't from Asus, or of lower grade. you could use that to add another 16gb of RAM if wanted.
