On Fighter ATM no real time to play a bunch so gonna solo it most likely.

Level 35 ATM.

Weapon Question: Stick strictly to Swords or are other types OK to use on Fighter as well?

I think I keep on EE / Str Armor / Charms ect. if not LMK what to focus on.

Stats: Dump strictly into Str / Dex or some into Vitality?

I suggest you try and stick with swords, just because you can use them on samurai and paladin when you pass to those next two classes

Get yourself some EE armors (Not robes) and strength charms.
i would put your vitality up to 100, especially with this hard event. the rest into Str.

Sword are good on fighter, and can take you all the way thro to monk before you would been another weapon type.
Axes and daggers are best imo but takes a bit more investment ofc.

Swords are str base weapons so put all stats into str. Axes are 50/50 str/dex, and daggers are full dex. As for vitality a few points wouldnt hurt, and will increase your life/def.

all weapons you can use are roughly equal, just a case of which comes in useful if you pass, which is why we usually recommend swords, as you won't need a different weapon type when you get to samurai if you pass.

clubs will be cheapest.
axes will be more expensive but have little additional use over clubs, until you get to HH which is a long way away

I was planning on getting this guy like max leveled and just keep playing him for a "Magic Find" kind of guy and starting a new one to do the Climb to try that quest thing.

Is that how you unlock the additional chars / what else do you get out of passing the quest?

HH stands for Head Hunter, which can only use axes and battle axes for weapons. so axes are a good thing to start collecting

there is no max level but not bad idea.

you only get guilds points and unlocking the next character, for passing master quest.

Good luck and have fun. I also rejoined Ladder Slasher about a month ago.
I just died for the first time on my Guardian. I gave it a nice ride though.
Twice I attempted the MasterQuest but failed. Was working on my third climb.

I'm playing softcore so it's okay, also I'm a solo slasher, but dying sucks.
It was a hybrid healer/warhammer Guardian that just didn't tank as well.

I'll be starting up a new warhammer Barbarian now. More focused and determined than before.
I only casually play Ladder Slasher but it's a lot of fun. I wish I could play it more competitively.
