If you strafe at this*, what happens? You shoot at about 3.5fpa, each shot connects with at best 3 monsters and that's 3*25/3.5=21 hits per second.
Now if you MS at this*, what happens? You shoot at about 7fpa, each shot connects with every monster, we can see 23, so that's at least 23*25/7=82 hits per second

That just looks like a bad player to me, I’m a bowazon. They shouldn’t be getting that close to me period. My biggest concern is there’s a lot of talk about amp from atmas only working on the first 4? Middle arrows of multi shot. That number could be wrong but I’ve read a few times it doesn’t work on every arrow so it’s wasted. And the fact that strafe gives a modifier for every arrow fired would also increase its damage. I just don’t see a benefit of use multi. And I see why most other players don’t either. It’s like adding health instead of dex. You don’t cause you’re an amazon, if they get that close to you then you’re probably doing something wrong.

That is using brain. Multiple damage calculators showing why strafe is the way to go and you’ve given a picture of a amazon that looks like he ran in the middle of a group like an idiot. I’d love it if you had more information about the science behind multi and why it’s better but opinion and a random picture won’t do it for me.
