I linked my accounts but none of my icons transferred over, do I have to buy reforged for it to transfer?

yeah I just went on Battle.net and downloaded the WC3 installer and it worked. After I ran it, it linked into my blizzard app and it automatically installed (~30 GB)

another derp it's the "classic" version of course

you can play online its just not the new graphics (who cares not worth $30)

its garbage imo, CLANS dont work, chat is overlapping 50% of other screens making reading cancerous,
and u need to use scroll wheel to see new messages
old stats dont even transfer, yeah sure you can link old account, but that does nothing and wont transfer anything.

and if you have a bunch of old saved/load codes from custom games, well all those are thrown into the garbage can, cus we are using new ID name with battletag etc.
cus we now need to use their app.

its just a few of the things i can mentions, theres defo a lot more if you follow reddit and numerous discords channels related to warcraft 3

Personally wouldn’t buy it yet... they have a lot of work left to be done. Still can fix the game not totally sold the game as trash... but as it currently is, games trash
