That's why Kobe Bryant is #1 all time to me. He's the GOAT, period!

This is Nick Wright's top 14 NBA players of all time according to his show on FS1.

First Things First@FTFonFS1
· 16h @getnickwright's list his Top 14 all-time NBA players

1. LeBron
2. Jordan
3. Kareem
4. Magic
5. Russell
6. Wilt
7. Duncan
8. Kobe
9. Bird
10. Robertson
11. West
12. Hakeem
13. Shaq
14. Moses

My top 10 is Kobe, Jordan, Olajuwon, LeBron, Magic, Duncan, Bird, Wilt, Bill Russell and Shaq.
And I feel bad for leaving Oscar Robertson off my top 10 but who do I take out. Don't tell me Dream!

Maybe I'm wrong but there's no way Hakeem Olajuwon wasn't a top 10 player of all time. #12 according to Nick Weight.

Olajuwon and Shaq were two of the greatest big men I've ever seen with my own eyes. Nick Wright has them 12 and 13. OMG!

So the all-time scorer with one of the most iconic moves of all time, which by the way was completely unguardable, isn’t top 10 but Kobe is? Lmao

I'm biased when ranking centers. I watched all of Shaq's career, even during his LSU days.
I wish I had seen Kareem play more often with my own eyes. I caught the tail end of his career.
And at the time I was in Elementary school. Back then NBA games weren't televised as much.

Being 100 % honest with you. I just didn't watch Kareem play that much. That's all. And I'm older than most of you!

If I'm building a team from scratch and can have any center I want. I'd honestly take Olajuwon or Shaq.
Even though I know Shaq is going to be 60-40 at the free throw line. His dominance was fun to watch!

Most iconic shot of all time that's unguardable. You made me realize I should fit Dirk Nowitzki in my top 10!
Let's face it. It's hard to put together a top 10. At least 30 players you can honestly make a case for.

One day I'm sure I'll be talking about Trae Young, Luka Doncic, Zion Williamson and Ja Morant, at least one or two, as a top 10 or 20 all time.

Kareem was basically a more powerful Dirk that could hook shot instead of fade away (more accurate and harder to defend in the post) combined with an impeccable longevity at an All-Star level

such longevity but couldn't win without Magic Johnson. Not even once. All 5 rings came from Magic + Kareem.

Magic Johnson really carried Kareem to a championship on that '71 Bucks team.

Kobe had the Kareem sky hook as part of his offensive arsenal. His bag of tricks included almost everything!
