So I’m going to start off by saying damn I missed out on a lot of good years not playing assassin until now. Hands down my favorite char as well as lot of others.

Biggest topic discussion. Do ghost just auto lose to good barbs? Is there any gear switches that would help? Guille helm? Gores? Currently 50/50 with barbs and win against the bad ones with terrible fhr. But the ones that give me no breathing room, that keep a constant namelock/pressure just makes me want to bash my head against the wall, lol.

I’ve probably read every guide from spider sin to hybridsin to ghost. To get a better grasp of every type of sin. Took me a while to understand the concept of WSM Bugging and completely bugging it wrong and ended up with a slower ias but that’s beyond the point. I got it all figured out now and know the ias required per claw.

Currently using 6x45 shadow skillers and 3x10 max 71-73 AR/45 lifers. I only win vs a barb if I get enough clippings in the beginning or when I Mb them into fhr to get a clip in.

How do you ghost veterans go about them?

Why would you want to duel a barb on a ghost? Why not just avoid that matchup? Who is forcing you to duel barbs on a ghost. The best way for a ghost veteran to duel a barb is by getting on a different char. Do BvCs duel BvBs? Do melee sorcs duel smiters? Why try?

Not forced. Just gm pub games. I’m not the type to switch multiple chars.

totally correct, those babas that stays in ur face constant, good at timing the teleport after wirl/super short wsg, to then hunt you with perfect short wirls and instant rejump as you get out are hard.

first off: 9 shadow sks would give u a higher fade level, it would also give you a higher mb level.
valk 08 and 102 fcr is the best vs baba, you NEED both the fcr and the frw to be able to keep him stunned, and then to abuse them back with as little contact as possible. use cloak of shafows and wof/ls combi.

the frw helps a lot in avoiding him to re-wirl you back when you jump him, it also makes you faster ready after wirl such that you can keep him stunned.

its a hard duel, but its possible, dont do long side by side wirls, baba wins that.

its also important for ever assa to stay close, constant keep on tele close, putting traps/mb tactically and wirling when its safe. if you just put traps and then mb mb mb mb he will get out rather untouched.

never try to flee away in a stright angle, those are the easiest for babas to hunt down with chainlocks, if ur locked try teleporting close to obstacle as that will often make him loose his chain as he lands beside u instead of on top and his mouseplacement becomes wrong for chaining. keep working around him in triangles which means ur traps are always close, ur harder to hit and you mb him from different sides, as which direction you decide to teleport out of mb matters.

Barb Vs ghost it's so retard duel that can be avoided. If it's in pub and stalk you simple take hammer or other char...
