i.e. If you have a stack of 20 t1 magical essences on a mule, and you move 20 MORE t1 magical essences from your skiller you will have 2x stacks of that t1 magical essence. It will ONLY combine if you take that 20 stacks and drag it onto that other 20 stack.

Even if you click the "Sort Items By Type" button, they will still not stack - only if you drag and drop a stack onto another stack will it combine.
