NRC was PFF's 19th best cover corner this past season, out of 128 qualified players in the NFL.

He's an upgrade, and he plays the slot. Much needed addition.

He has 4 starts the last two years and played primarily Nickel.

You are now asking hiim to guard teams #2 and play every down.

There is a reason he was ppaid 1.7 million because hes not good

Nrc is very competent

Hes not gonna win you 5 games but he's going to be reliable

Since both corners are undersized, they don't fit the Eagles' scheme very well. While they have the potential to be extremely talented, and are obviously one of the top CB duos in the NFL, they just don't match well with what the coaches are trying to do on defense.

And his role will be the same on the Eagles as it was on the Rams. He will play the nickel. Although he played Nickel 42.8% of his snaps last season, so he played the outside plenty as well.

Maddox, Jones, LeBlanc, Douglas will all compete for the #2 on the outside opposite of Slay.

Massive upgrade for the Eagles, that's indisputable. Addressing the corner position as needed.
