Better actors, yes

But that doesn’t stop it from being held back by the TERRIBLE source material for this part of the story and the fact that children are better suited as protagonists for this story

Also the final ‘fight’ is the lamest shit ever they literally just call him some mean names then he dies, how can you possibly think that is good

the kids were pretty great actors in the first movie. Obv when you throw in some oscar noms for the adults you get some good performances ... but still

I agree that the kids did a great job but compared to people like James mcavoy and Jessica chastain idk if there’s a real ‘being better than them’

First one was better, though i must say that the kids acting were great

Pretty meh movie. The ending was especially bad and a lot of the CGI scares were just over-done and lost the impact they were going for. I was disappointed almost the entire way through.
