Going to greece soon and looking for ideas
Considering going from athens to meteora and im not sure if it should be a day trip from athens or if i should take a train to a hotel near there and have a full day there

Also thinking of hop on hop off bus tours for athens and a ferry to santorini

Climb mount Olympus
Bunch of historical museums/cathedrals
Visit Santorini, simply because it's in a song LOL - it's nice though too
Delphi is pretty neat too if you're into historical things
Boat rides around a few caves/rivers, with amazing viewing features.

I went there 7 years ago with my fiancée and we did most of these things.

Mini, roughly 10 person boat tours (non motorized) through underwater caves/narrow canals. They weren't super special but the sights are pretty beautiful. Took about 4 hours per boat ride and I did 3 in total.
