it matters what your friend is playing

the easiest thing, of course, is to teleport past all the annoying stuff and grind levels together in the efficient spots

Trapsin and summoner for solo.
The crowd control they offer just makes it too easy (not the fastest though).


For a team, sorc hammerdin probs easiest. Not incredibly gear dependent and can dish out the hurts.
Static + hammers = ouch time
