tbh just get 3700x
if you do video editing and shit splurge on the 3950x

the 2700x is on sale for 159$ for cyber monday tho :S

i live in NY and its pretty cold outside now. will it fuck my cpu / other parts up if i get it delivered and its left outside till i come home from work?

not unless its sitting in water soaking for hours on end.
even then once dry it should function.

Maybe once upon a time.
Like I said I pull em from scrap yards... so lets go over how that works...

person throws pc out on side of road, shit sits for days exposed to elements.
thrown in a truck, stuff thrown on it, hauled around for miles.
Dumped into a forklift bin usually, put on scale then hand bombed into a section of the warehouse.
person then strips that mother fucker down to nothing sorting parts.
when at cpu the toss it 1-20 feet away into a large corrugated box on a pallet.
at some point I enter and dig though said box. then I proceed to take it home and clean it and test it.

Honestly, the price you pay for a quality AMD is way better than the Intel ones..atleast until you get to the higher end CPU's that's when Intel becomes better for the price.
