Diablo II classic and LoD are the same thing, except for classic you have forever to get your godlies in hell chaos once your journey has been completed. In both games, classic and LoD, it can be very painful if you stay poor for a while.

Dudeeeeee no. They are two totally different games. Runes, charms, act 5, addition of new classes, and all the lame ass sets and items that LoD produces that aren’t in classic makes them two totally different games. The viability of characters, builds, and skill trees are so different.

I tried classic again. Have played lod a lot, and classic when I was a kid. Played only self found, walking and no rushes. It was amazing, addicting, thrilling and hard. Good game. I think it would be good by 2019 standards absolutely, if the content was much larger in volume ofc.

They just need to be constantly updating it. Not in the way of diablo 3 though.
Adding more levels of difficulty and making items/skills more powerful is not enough.
They also need an active warden. Bots in D2/D3 are just ridiculous.
