whats more active? i still want to start again but i cant decide between classic or retail

Classic is 100x more active

Don't know when the last time you played was, but ha. Most of the people on Classic are farming gold to sell. The rest are there because they convinced themselves it's the "hardcore" version of WoW when in reality its the worst version of WoW to ever exist.

I've been having a way better experience in WoW classic than any of the other expansion since wotlk.

Oh no I agree but uts definitely more active. Until another year passes when people realize it's not actually better than retail. I still vouch retail is better than the OG WoW

Retail wow it is! im gonna buy a new copy of it with that new expansion might do a RaF too idk yet so i might be looking for people on retail to RaF with

Yeah, and casual is something to enjoy is it not? If he wants to start let him start on retail.
It's a lot more player friendly
Vanilla is for the hardcore players who dont want the features like dungeon finder to make queues faster or other things of that nature
