What kinda question is it? If you're the best in the worst guild you'll never learn you'll be teaching. If you're the worst in the best guild then there's a lot you can learn, or just get carried until you get kicked for someone better.

I get zero gear because all the other mages have been there longer.

I could guild hop to a lesser guild and be the best mage there but shittt raids.

So they use LC then? Eventually you'll get gear. That's how 40 mans work when bosses drop only 2-3 items. For a mage you'll have to fight for the gear. Unless you're super lucky and pug it and win all the rolls.

My guild uses DKP so everyone can get the gear they work for.

And by worst/best I figured you meant your skill level, lol.

Or I would be the best mage in a shit guild. Hence more gear would come my way
