Seriously, I really support most points ppl say on jsp about what and how should be in the game.
But "teleporting gameplay" issue is just dumb. Have you ever saw any other arpg/rpg game where you actually are constantly teleporting instead of walking? This just doesn't make any sense. People stick to some bugged mechanics from D2 and based on that demands that bugged mechanics every where. C'mon guys.
This is what I've been saying, tele from d2 was Op when only sorc could use it, and silly when all classes could. It should have been nerfed instead of shared and the easiest and most effective way to nerf/slow tele would have been a short cooldown like blizzard and meteor had. It would have slowed mf runs and made it way harder to bot. Slowing down the gameplay can have a really cool effect to the feel of the game, go back and play Diablo 1 and see how creepy it is, its almost like a horror game. D2 tele was kinda like giving someone a Ferrari and expecting them to stop and smell the roses. Wow had a similar problem adding flying mounts and too many flight paths that made travel super fast and easy although these changes were initially welcomed, in the end they hurt the openworld experience. I guess what I'm saying is more mobility in a game may seem inviting but it's one of those good things that you can definitely have too much of.
