More Claw Vipers in the Icy Cellar :cry: Sick double mob. One of the hardest fights so far.

Thanks man! Cham is still in stash. Only choice would be Gullis for merc i guess. Maybe i'll use it if i go grind for better stuff after i finished the WT.

Ah ok i must have misunderstood your goals!
No reruns till baal hell? And after Baal everything allowed?
Still very impressive if you make it tho bro, to me seems impossible haha!
Will watch for updates inbetween my own LK runs :thumbsup:

Well, my only goal is to finish the game on hc p8 without reruns. So mainly kill ball in hell and clear as many areas as possible. After that my WT is done. But hey, maybe i come back at some day and do some grinding with the char.

Time for Ancients


Well, now it's the time for the probable hardest fight so far. I had given this some thought. Tried out different tactics etc. The biggest problems (apart from my sucky equipment) are as follows:

- Madawc is alwayslight immune. Sometimes his immunity can be broken with Lower Resists. But even then, his light resists are so high that i hardly deal any damage with traps.

- Merc is too weak. Talic kills him in seconds. Same goes for myself. So better not get hit.

- Mana: Especially without Meditation aura after merc died.

My solution to these problems are:

1) Merc must not die until Madawc is dead! I will always try that Ancients attack my Shadow Master and not me or the merc. My SM is quite a tank.

2) Ancients must be seperated quickly. For this, i plan to use my teleport staff. With teleport my merc and Sm won't walk around the map attracting the Ancients. Tactic is to tele in one corner, wait for the 3 guys and then teleport fastly in the opposite corner. Then try to lure only one guy into that corner. This one guy must not be Talic, because of 1)

3) After seperating one Ancient, switch teleport staff to LR wand. Without LR even the non immunes take forever.

4) Respawn Ancients with TP until no AMP, Fana, or a second light immune.

5) Mana pots on the ground vanish after a certain time. This will be a long fight so i throw out all res and mf charms and fill my inventory with mana pots.

6) Now it pays off that i collected like every single item >5k gold in the game and sold it. For my different attemps here i needed tons of gold for merc, pots and repairs.

Figured out that my merc could use some CB. So i switched Lionheart for Rattlecage. This means my merc has not enough str for Insight CV. So i made this helm...



Mana. LR wand + 2 mana pots in cube.




Here we go. About my 6th attempt of respawning them.
