So I did some math.

She can do a chaos run in 1 minute, 20 seconds. That’s quickly clearing only the seals on players 1, then killing Diablo on players 7. Let’s round up to 1 minute 30 seconds to account for time between games/occasional identifications. Doing chaos like this, she gets 90,000-100,000 per run.

Alternatively, she can do a full Baal run, teleing straight to the throne with no stops in WSK and clearing the first two waves on P3, and all other waves on P8, then Baal on P3, for a total of between 3 minutes 20 seconds and upwards of 4 minutes if the throne was extra dirty. Doing Baal runs like this, she gets about 250,000 per run.

So it turns out that bare bones CS and Baal speed runs will end up netting me about the same amount of exp over time, but since the possibility of lots of cold immunes in the throne can be an annoyance and slows me down, I’m almost better off speed running CS until 98. :bonk:

If you are doing that in chaos, make sure you do the seal glitch trick on /p8 for extra loot. Shouldn’t slow your runs down by much

Yes indeed. I actually just learned how to do that a couple days ago, so I’m still trying to get used to remembering to do that. So far I’ve only done it a few times but you’re right I should definitely be taking advantage of it :thumbsup:

I'm mostly doing the speed CS runs, clearing all seals at P1 then P8 for Diablo.
Sometimes an EXP shrine spawns in CS or at the ROF waypoint.
So when I do get an EXP shrine I'll go ahead and kill Nihlathak after Diablo and then if I still have the shrine,
I'll go to WSK for some mob hunting, especially those yummy Horads.

I spec'd her a little bit differently now since I'm mostly speed running CS,
going back to base dex and a higher mana/lower life ES build with 5k blizz and it works quite well.

2,990,708,595 out of 3,229,426,756
Doing speed CS runs I can get about 4 million exp per hour.
So at this rate, I've probably got another 58-60 hours of run time before hitting 98.

Guardian angel soso me like. Even tho res is not that good in PvM, cool build!

What do you mean? I know the res doesn’t apply to the energy shield, but coupled with dwarf and wisp, those rare times when I get my mana dropped by souls or mana burn infector, that extra res and sorb really helps me feel safe. But the best is the 90 poison res for wave 2 when I run Baal, since poison completely bypasses the ES. The faster block rate on guardian angel might be my favorite part, though since blocking with spirit shield is extremely slow. Plus the black armor looks secksy :thumbsup:

So far today in CS i've found a +5/-4 cold facet (I already have two 5/-5 cold facets waiting for when I find fathom and a better nightwings than the 8, 9 and 11% ones I've found)
and two +20 life SC today that will go on a different toon.
