My father had a stroke yesterday and was rushed to Emergency Department unconscious.
He is being prepped right now for surgery to drill into his skull to fix the blood clot near the brain.

Any prayer for him is appreciated, his name is Desmond.

Thank you to all who did pray for my dad.
Things are a little difficult atm but seem to be generally positive for now.
It is difficult to see your loving father in such a condition, he can open his eyes but can't see, he can hear and can squeeze my hand on request.
Frustration comes from the doctors who simply won't tell you anything, except worse case scenarios.
Just taking one day at a time for now.

Praise Jesus and all glory to God.

So my dad is finally out of the ICU and into a normal ward. He can see again and now speak, but he does mix a few words up. He still has his sense of humour and joked when he looked at mum and said "who are you?"
even though he remembers and names all 9 of his grandchildren.
Things are more positive atm, but he has a long way to go and the physiotherapy has already started off slowly.

Thank you again to all who gave prayers. Praise be to Jesus.

My father also had a stroke, luckly he did not need a surgery however he needed half a year to recover.

I do not pray a lot, but when I do I do it with everything I have.

i feel you, that exactly how i feel.

at the moment i lost all my strengh praying for somebody i know who are getting pushed by a bad boyfriend.

as soon i am stronger i will pray for your father. He is already stronger, ask him for help to build a shed at home, tell him he has to come help you build it, Lord will loan him strengh.

Dont listen to people around, command his help.
