I planned on making a Whirlwind Barbarian at first because it's my favorite classic build, but I decided to make a new character once I realized how bad Whirlwind actually was.

This is my Iron Maiden + Blood Golem, Corpse Explode and Bone Spirit Necromancer
I am playing on softcore because monsters have 4x attack rating and killed my Barbarian multiple times
I used the TCP/IP option to throw some unique items on the character which I gambled and found on my Barbarian
My goal is to kill hell Diablo and then gamble + farm for nice rares that can't spawn in newer patches
I'm really just posting this W/T for myself and I apologize in advance if anyone disapproves of the items I transferred

Here is some of the gear I gambled + found that looks useful for my character. I can't believe I found that wand.






Possibly deciding on leaving one Den quest unfinished if I decide to bring this character forward.

This will come in handy for all the unidentified items.


Not upset with this gamble. Just makes it that much easier to gamble a Tarn Helm.

Second attempt at killing Andariel. I died not even 20 seconds into the fight on the first try.


That was not easy. I ended up using a long bow with a chipped emerald to slowly kill her in between casting Clay Golem + IM.


Decided to put a point into Raise Skeleton which really helped during our fight.

Here are a few other items I gambled. I have no gold but that's okay.

I knew keeping Arcanna's skull helm would be worth the space.


I have been trying to gamble this belt for 31 levels on my Barbarian and 17 on my Necromancer. I finally have it.


I have been trying to gamble these for equally as long. The extra mana is needed.


Time to search the tombs for Duriel!

Let's see how this build handles Duriel.


The golem died once during the fight. Bone Spear also helped a ton. Pretty cool drop.

It's definitely different than current versions. I am really enjoying it.


I love finding the figure off the first pack of monsters I run across.
