Can't wait for these SP matchups; prolly gonna be something like:
Cole/Scherzer
Verlander/Stras
Greinke/Corbin

Pitching wins; granted Houston's lineup is also the best lineup I've seen since I've started watching Baseball ~20 years ago. I wasn't around for the Big Red Machine (Reds lineup in the 70's) but could also be ever. They walk, hit for average, hit for power, and don't strikeout. Correa hitting 7th is just ridiculous how deep their lineup is.

I do hope Washington somehow pulls up the upset though and wins their first WS; should be a good series though with these SP matchups.

Edit: Also just read this

For the first time since the 1910s, the 27-time world champions will finish a calendar decade without an appearance in the Fall Classic.

Feels good granted that's one impressive streak.

Sanchez, Hicks, EE, Stanton and Gardner

Can someone post these guys numbers with RISP? And bases loaded? What a shame.....

Pretty impressive the series was this close with how ice Yankees middle of the line-up bats went (3-7ish) + half the talent in the rotation with Sevy totally out of form

EE/Stanton injury late killed the Yankees

That being said, Harris should be the MVP, not Altuve. Got them out of every single big jam.

Eric Cooper, the Major League Baseball umpire who worked the AL Division Series two weeks ago, has died. He was 52.

Cooper died after having a blood clot. He had knee surgery earlier in the week and was recuperating at his father's home in Iowa. Popular with his fellow umps, he was talking to them Saturday about his recovery.

the Astros are like if Hinkie got to finish his plan in Philly. acquire core through tanking, make moves with assets to contend, sign FA stars.
