I understand that, I have personally enjoyed not having to set up my laptop / sit at a computer desk and lay in bed or on the couch to play a game moreso. Don’t really agree with the aspect of ps+ as that has been around console gaming since OG xbox days... subs suck but it’s been a norm and honestly helps give revenue when sony has an expense hosting all of the server. 50$ sub is really nothing for a year of entertainment. When games like wow have charged 15$ a month.

i dont believe that because they did it with ps2 & ps3 no ps+ sub the only reason ps+ even came to be was because all the xbots were like " its only $50 who cares" so sony was like " i bet we can pull that off too"
if anything your ps+ subs are probably paying for ps now servers which is another paid service

wow also has ways to pay for subs with in game gold can you play ps games and get ps+ subs? not a very good comparison imo
i even play wow and dont like the sub system and feel like it should be cut down to like $5-10 by now the game was dying but classic saved it ..for now at least so i dont see sub fee dropping


and no ps+ isnt super expensive but tbh i dont have it and havnt for like 2 years because i think its BS an most good exclusives are single player anyways
and multiplayer games? yeah they dont get my sale because im not paying to pay it online when i can buy it for pc and play it free with better graphics lol

i might get the ps5 depending how things go i guess but judging by the way ps4 life cycle went its a big nope i used to think as sony as the leader and innovators or console gaming
now they look like M$ fanboys following their direction for greed ps+ subs psnow subs buying cod rights smh has M$ written all over it

im agree with the dude dlcs are craps back to n64 and old console there was no crapy dlc

think to destiny its 200$ if you want the complete games

and basically unplayable if you dont buy dlcs

N64 games were absolutely tiny compared to any games now, even ones that are considered short, so how are they good examples of games being released without dlc? Even Indy games now are typically longer than n64 games

Who wouldn’t rather have a 5 hour game than a 50 hour one with 30 hours of dlc though

Would say there are a lot more examples of terrible DLC games than good.

I don’t think I’ve ever played a game with dlcs and thought that I would prefer if it didn’t have any

I would prefer all the games I listed that are AAA to be finished instead of having to pay over 100$ to finally have an enjoyable game


/e the only game I really can say I enjoyed before DLC off the top of my head is horizon zero. Can’t think of any other games that were good prior to DLC if you want to actually provide some examples

reading this last sentence its like you know the problem but cant see it?
devs are releasing unfinished games to sell u the rest in dlc chunks why do you think games are no longer fun to play without dlc? becasue its hlaf a fucking game for full price
i miss when dlc were expansions to already complete games not developed alongside the current game and cut out to be sold to us for extra $$
