4/10 movie, it made its point pretty early and just kept going and going and going. Only 2 hours but it felt long

Amazing movie. Lock in the Oscar now. Holy hell. I just sat there smiling the whole time. Finally a good fucking film. I don’t want to leave my seat.

This lived up to the hype for me. Tho the trailer(s) really spoiled a lot of the movie unfortunately. But damn, this was a special film.

I agree with you like 10%; they did kind of beat us over the head with the message they wanted us to take away

If you can’t look past that pretty minuscule part of the movie to see everything it did right you are a joke though



lol the vast majority of the trailer scenes took place in the first 30 minutes and the rest can hardly be considered spoilers. I guess you could mean that they kind of gave away the direction the movie was heading in? but it is about one of the most well known villains in any form of media it’s not like you wouldn’t realize he ends up as the bad guy

the movie didn't even really have anything to say, just wasn't great tbh. not to take anything away from the acting which was pretty well done.

I loved this movie
Watching the jokers decent into madness was all the more sweeter.
This is the origin story the fans have deserved

And it explains ledgers joker after knowing what made him so dark

9/10 aswell

Its really unfair to say this is an origin to Ledger's Joker. Its not the same Joker, its not he same timeline, its not the same universe. its a completely stand alone film
