Is Bash a decent skill for lvl 18 melee barb?

I only ask because I found this helm and it offers 127 charges of lvl 9 bash + a couple other useful mods. If you use the charges it would open up skill point use elsewhere, but im not an expert on melee barbs, let alone vlld versions of them:

Not a good helm. Doesn't have 2 sockets and if you are going to use a Barb helm it needs more staff mod skills.

Bash will do more damage than conc but with the amount of zealots running around at 18, conc with defensive gear is a better build.

This. Barbs just don't hit a good attack fpa at LVL 18 so you need a non interruptable attack to do anything. Plus the Def bonus from conc is nice to blank some hits vs low ar opponents.

Lately I've been testing high attack speed + stun skill as a tanky utility char in tvts. Lots of life rep instead of damage just to run in and force fhr frames while someone else kills. It's interesting, but imo throw barbs are still the best kind of barb you can build at 18

at lvl 18 besides barbs/paladins, how do javazons/druids do?

A fissure druid is fairly effective. Your mileage can vary based on gear quality, but even a budget one can be fun in a tvt.
As for a melee druid (feral rage or maul), you really need top end gear for them to shine. And even then, they struggle vs zeal.

A bowa/java is a strong build and fun to play.

Ps I'm trying to work on a leap/leap attack barb. Good damage, bad range I mostly use him for the leap knockback radius

Bow/java does sound like a fun team char to play, il have to start looking at weapon options

Superior 5 sock bow with 5x 20 max jewels is the norm for a bowa.
If you can manage a gg rare stag or edge it would perform better overall, but they don't pop up very often. I used over 2000 skulls 're rolling edge bows a couple months ago. I did all the math to maximize my odds of getting something good. Epic fail.

A fully decked javazon if built right (ar/def/dmg spread) will preform pretty well.
However zeal barb and zeal pala will always be better in 18 melee.
