I have very small and random memories of being a soldier in Vietnam war and survived it, but I was never born during that time.

Found out my dad was a special forces soldier during the Vietnam war that survived where everyone else was killed.

Genetic memory is proven to some extent, even in the miraculously short term. My dog had a born fear of guns even having never seen one fire. Some have other baked in fears and memories. Evolution and reproduction is all about passage of memory. It's explained very well in metal gear solid 2.
