I said this before, but there's almost nothing corrupt a future Democrat president can do that their party and voters will take seriously. They'll just play the "Trump was far worse" card every time.

well, he will really have to keep his promise to repay the profits made by this. otherwise, it would be such a blatant self-enrichment that even Trump couldnt shake it off.

have you forgotten the zte deal? the kushner loans? ivanka's china licensing? the multi million dollar bills for his mar-a-lago visits? all the swamp monsters in his administration that had to resign over self dealing, insider trading, and other ethics violations?
you really think this is the straw that'll break the camel's back? i doubt it. republicans will pretend to care for a second because it's just so ridiculously brazen, but ultimately claim it's somehow justifiable for some obscure reason...
