No, not really lol. The Democrats were entirely way too divided, having Bernie Sanders supporters openly REFUSE to vote for Hilary fucked them. People simply didn't understand that by refusing to vote for Hilary when she beat out Bernie they were essentially allowing Trump to win as a result.

People just needed to understand that yes you hate Trump, but you can't go vote independent because THAT ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN and your vote is wasted instead of giving Hilary the vote who had a real chance to win (let's not forget the majority of the U.S. voted for her).

If someone doesn't depend on the $1,000 UBI that would come from the div & vat.

That's 12,000 that could be invested in risk free or very low risk 4-5% annual roi and could turn into a very nice retirement solution especially the new Social Security is going.

If you're 30 years old right now, and would receive $1,000 monthly and you never decide to touch it.. at the bare minmum of 4% annual return, it would easily be over $620,000 with basic compound interest.
