PC:
Dell motherboard
Intel E5200
3GB RAM
Gigabyte Windforce 3x 450w GTX 780 3GB
TV:
LG FLATRON Plasma 42" max res: 1360x768 @ 85Hz
The TV is an old school plasma from 2004 or 2005. No HDMI, VGA only.
In the past I was using an HD 4770 1GB and the screen was off center so I used the ATI CCC, adjusted the image, and I had it absolutely perfect. I had it running at 1360x768 @ 85Hz too.
When I swapped for the GTX 780 I uninstalled ATI CCC and all drivers then installed Nvidia and all drivers.
Running at 1366x768 @ 60Hz is the only way to get centered, but I have 3 pixels missing on the left and 3 pixels missing on the right.
If I try to switch to running at 1360x768 @ 85Hz the desktop moves 1 inch to the left. (changing refresh rate does not help)
If i go to the Nvidia Control Panel and try to correct this it doesn't work how I expect.
Vertically it's absolutely perfect. Horizontally the left is missing by 1 inch and there's a 1 inch black bar on the right side of the screen. So essentially the entire image moved 1 inch to the left.
If this happened with my HD 4770 I could just go into settings move the image to the right, the entire image would move, and problem solved.
Not the case with this GTX 780. If I move the image to the right the missing left appears but the right side disappears into the black bar, instead of the black bar moving like it used to.
Is there a way to fix this or just deal with the 3 missing pixels on each side and lower refresh rate?
